JAPFA Foundation through the Edufarmers International foundation again held the Farming for the Country (BUN) program to support the MBKM program launched by the government. The BUN program also aims to provide students with experience and motivation to know what the real conditions in the field are like. This includes providing opportunities for students to see entrepreneurial opportunities in agriculture and animal husbandry.
The purpose of this year’s BUN program is slightly different because it is carried out in several regions. One of them is related to horticultural crops in West Java and it is in this area that Undip Agribusiness students on behalf of Bahrul Ulum Habiba will carry out their internship activities. It is hoped that these Undip Agribusiness students will later be able to identify farmers’ problems and provide solutions.
Ir. Kustopo Budiraharjo, M.P as the head of the Undip Agribusiness Study program emphasized that through this BUN internship students are expected to be able to discuss directly with farmers, make visits to farmers and companies, and know the comparisons in class and at the farmer level.
