It is not a simple thing to achieve a ranking in QS World University Rankings. Considering there are only 6 (six) universities from Indonesia in agriculture subjects that were recorded; such as Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), Gadjah Mada University, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Brawijaya University, Hassanudin University, and Diponegoro University.

Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU said that the achievement inscribed by the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences in achieving the 400+ ranking cannot be separated from the support of all the academic community. According to him, all the study programs were already excellently accredited. International student, student exchange, intensive research and community service conducted by the lecturers, down streaming of research results, and the complete infrastructure and the addition of ASIIN accreditation which was successfully achieved by the 3 study programs of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural in 2022 has supported this achievement.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU added on the subject of QS World University Rankings: Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Diponegoro University plans to further encourage more public lectures and guest lecturers from the world’s top universities, organizing student and lecturer exchanges at the international level, conducting research with partner universities abroad, increasing collaboration operating summer schools, to lecture methods with an introduction with English. In the future, it is expected that the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences at Diponegoro University would be more prominent and would be known to the world.
